About The Peace Pavilion
The Peace Pavilion is the flagship program of PeacePathways organization.
At PeacePathways and the Peace Pavilion, we believe peace is not just an ideal—it’s a practical skill that can be taught, lived, and shared. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our work focuses on equipping children and adults with tools for peacemaking through active learning, emotional development, and thoughtful action.
Creating Pathways to Peace for All Ages
The Peace Pavilion is an interactive children’s museum dedicated entirely to peace education. Unlike traditional museums, our approach is fully immersive. Visitors do not just observe peace—they experience it.
Through hands-on exhibits, we teach visitors how to recognize emotions, communicate with compassion, solve conflicts, celebrate diversity, and care for the planet. These lessons are aligned with four pillars of peaceful living.
PeacePathways is a 501(c)(3) organization that was developed for the purpose of bringing together organizations and groups that are actively focused on the mission of peace and justice through programs and activities. PeacePathways provides oversight for the Peace Pavilion as one of our principal functions.
Why Peace Education Matters
Many children face environments filled with stress, conflict, and uncertainty. By teaching peace-based life skills early, we help them build resilience, navigate emotions, and interact with others in constructive ways. Our museum experience directly supports:
- Social-emotional learning (SEL)
- Interpersonal communication
- Cultural awareness and appreciation
- Global citizenship
- Environmental sustainability
We partner with schools, families, youth organizations, and community leaders to create a ripple effect of peace—starting with one visitor and extending into homes, classrooms, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
